Baby Fetus Stages in factual honest terms with photos!

Month 1 – up to 4 week fetus “Oh Crap” Month
this is when egg + sperm do the high five and now there’s a tiny baby seed in there. it’s super small, like why is this thing already bossing your hormones around. you prob don’t even know yet.

Month 2 – 4-6 week fetus "Alien Blob" Time
now it’s got a heartbeat and little nub arm things. still looks like something from a sci-fi movie but doctors are like “yep that’s normal.” you might be nauseas and mad at smells.

Month 3 – 6-9 week fetus – starting to look like a baby, "maybe kinda"
face parts show up. tail goes bye. now it’s like “hello i am person.” this is where people start telling family. wait, I had a tail? wtf!

Month 4 – 16-20 week fetus "the wiggler"
baby about avocado size. moves around, maybe you feel flutter or maybe it’s just gas you don’t wanna admit. can suck thumb, which is cute and weird at same time. Time to go get your baby ultrasound selfie! Is it a boy or a girl or a ??? ultrasound tech just wants lunch.

Month 5 – 20-24 week fetus - wait, I have a baby now?! im "not ready" for this!
you can see the whole baby now?! your belly is not impressing your gym coach. baby growing hair, eyebrows, doing practice breathing. you cry. partner cries. 

Month 6 – 24-28 week fetus - "gymnastics/boxing phase"
lots of kicking now. eyes open. reacts to sounds. it’s like “i live here now.” you maybe can’t sleep good. and to boot, it now has boxing gloves and has been letting you know whos the boss in here.

Month 7 – 28-32 week fetus - getting "chunky"
baby puts on fat so it doesn’t come out looking like a pink raisin. you get heartburn for crimes you didn’t even do.

Month 8 – 32-36 week fetus - no more room, "I WANT OUT!" and I need a light yo
baby is big. you are done. everything is squished. baby’s lungs almost ready, just growing and practicing being annoying. now they think they are cool and have adopted early habits.

Month 9 – 36 week plus fetus - launch mode, baby jumps out and says "make me a sammich!"

full size baby. about 7-8 lbs. body getting ready. baby dropping lower. you are like “ok get out now.” im hungry. feed me.
